JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. —
A residential fire caused significant damage to a single-family home in Jurupa Valley on Sunday morning, drawing a large response from local fire crews.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 10050 block of Clydesdale Avenue at approximately 10:15 a.m. following reports of a structure fire. Upon arrival, crews reported a single-story dwelling heavily involved in flames, with thick smoke visible from the surrounding neighborhood.
Due to the intensity of the blaze, the incident commander requested additional engines to assist in the firefight.
By 11:35 a.m., fire officials confirmed the blaze was contained to the original structure. While the home sustained major damage, crews successfully prevented the flames from spreading to neighboring properties.
According to a statement from fire officials, there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters reported at the scene.
Firefighters remained on-site for several hours Sunday afternoon to perform heavy overhaul operations, ensuring that all hidden hotspots were extinguished and the structure was stable. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
