Join EMWD for a Bird Walk and share the opportunity to view ibises, egrets, blackbirds and many other migratory and resident birds in their natural habitat at the EMWD Wetlands. The tours are from 8 am to 10:30 am and there are two dates left, March 14, 2026 and April 11, 2026.
Located on the grounds of the San Jacinto Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility, the multi-purpose constructed wetlands “polishes” recycled water before it is distributed to nearby farms, dairies, and the San Jacinto Wildlife Area for irrigation and additional environmental uses.
Bird Walks are hosted on the second Saturday of each month, October through April.
