MENIFEE, Calif. — The Menifee Police Department is conducting a death investigation following a shooting in a residential neighborhood Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to the 29000 block of Squaw Valley Drive regarding the incident. According to Riverside County Fire Department incident logs, a medical emergency was reported at the location at approximately 5:13 p.m.
Lieutenant Raul Perez of the Menifee Police Department confirmed that authorities are conducting a death investigation related to a shooting and that the coroner’s office has been requested.
Police emphasized that the scene is contained and there is currently no further risk to the public.
