When dozens of green-and-white street signs were installed across Anza years ago, they served a simple but critical purpose: helping emergency responders find homes more quickly. Now, more of those signs are ready to be placed.“These are signs that we had made for Anza residents when Supervisor Stone was in office,” said Robyn Garrison. “We were able to install about 135 of them before we ran out of funds, and I have had them in storage for a while. It’s past time to get them out there.”According to Garrison, Riverside County Third District Supervisor Jeff Stone provided Anza with a $15,000 budget for street signs during his tenure in office, which ended in 2016. The funding allowed approximately 135 signs to be created and installed before the money was exhausted.
