Egg Cleaning Day kicks off preparations for annual Anza Easter celebration

Community members are invited to lend a hand during Egg Cleaning Day, set for Saturday, March 7, at the Little Red Schoolhouse at Minor Park in downtown Anza.The event begins at 9 a.m., when volunteers will gather to clean and sort more than 10,000 plastic Easter eggs in preparation for the annual Community Easter Celebration.Organizers say community participation is essential to preparing for the popular annual event, which brings together local families for an afternoon of holiday fun.The Community Easter Celebration will be held Saturday, April 4, at Hamilton High School’s baseball field from noon to 4 p.m. Festivities will include an egg hunt, prizes, games, food and family-friendly activities.Volunteers are needed to help make both the preparation day and the celebra
