Murrieta Fire Crews Respond to Vegetation Fire on Wild Flower Drive

A heavy response from Murrieta Fire was triggered late Wednesday afternoon following reports of a vegetation fire on Wild Flower Drive.

The incident, designated as the “Wildflower IC” (Incident Command), was reported at 5:03 p.m. at 39698 Wild Flower Dr. Murrieta Fire immediately dispatched a robust response, including multiple engines, a brush rig, a water tender, and a battalion chief, alongside a state Office of Emergency Services (OES) engine.

As of 6:15 p.m., the incident remains classified as active on emergency dispatch logs; however, the fire appears to be largely contained. The majority of the initial response units have been cleared from the scene. Currently, only a fire investigator remains on site.

At this time, there have been no official statements released regarding the size of the fire or structural threats. Furthermore, there are no official reports regarding casualties; any individuals potentially affected are currently considered to have injuries of unknown severity until confirmed by an official agency Public Information Officer.
