Supervisors authorize funding for Pauba Road improvements

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors authorized $2,000,000 of Community Revitalization Fund revenue for improvements to Pauba Road.The supervisors’ 5-0 vote on June 2 authorized the use of $2,000,000 from the CRF Wine Country Infrastructure fund for the improvements. The work will include reconstruction, minor widening, and vertical and horizontal realignment to improve the safety and efficiency of vehicular traffic on Pauba Road from Via Del Monte to Calle Contento.The Temecula Valley Wine Country Community Plan was created in 2014 and amended the county’s general plan, updated design guidelines, and created new zoning classifications.
