Edward Finger won a Hobby Stocks heat race at Barona Speedway for the first time since the Murrieta driver began racing in that class this year, and Finger also finished third in the June 20 main event.“The car felt really good,” Finger said.Finger, a 2020 Vista Murrieta High School graduate, began racing in Barona’s Sport Compact division in June 2021 and raced in that class through 2022. He had one Pure Stocks race in 2022 and also competed in that division from 2023 to 2025.Finger and his family purchased a Hobby Stock with a 2020 Dodge Charger chassis from a Las Vegas driver. He made his debut in that car April 11 and finished second in the heat race; Finger was running second in the main event before his ignition coil broke and he went into the pits.Heat races at
