LAKE ELSINORE – July 16, 2026 – As one of Riverside County’s fastest-growing regions, Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD/District) continues planning ahead to ensure reliable water service for the communities it serves. This week, the District advanced that effort by securing access to an additional water supply through a 21-year regional water exchange agreement.Approved this week by the boards of EVMWD and Western Municipal Water District (Western Water), the agreement provides EVMWD access to exchange water through Western Water’s partnership with the San Diego County Water Authority.
