SAN JACINTO — One person was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning, Aug. 1, and the suspect remained at large, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at 2:34 a.m. to the 100 block of North Brinton Street after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
When deputies arrived, they found evidence of a shooting. One victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A second person sustained minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect fled before deputies arrived. No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information was immediately available.
