Menifee, CA – On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, members of the Menifee Police Department Investigations Bureau became aware of two individuals wanted on active, extraditable warrants issued by the State of Indiana. The warrants were for 75-year-old Linda Swift and 55-year-old Thomas Baker, who were wanted on charges related to narcotics possession and sales.
Utilizing available investigative resources and technology, including the department’s Flock Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) camera system, investigators were able to locate the subjects’ vehicle in the City of Menifee. Investigators coordinated with members of the Special Enforcement Team (SET), who subsequently contacted Swift and Baker.
Both subjects were safely taken into custody without incident and transported to the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta. They will remain in custody pending the extradition process and their release to authorities from the State of Indiana.
