HEMET — A driver was apprehended after allegedly causing a multivehicle collision on Florida Avenue, fleeing on foot and entering a nearby business, according to witness reports from the scene.Hemet Fire Department personnel responded to the collision and found two damaged vehicles, including one that had struck a building.Witnesses reported that a Hyundai Veloster was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a Chrysler Aspen. The impact reportedly caused the Chrysler to hit a streetlight and then crash into a Salvation Army building.
