St. Jeanne de Lestonnac hoopsters play at Intuit Dome

A co-ed team of St. Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School basketball players participated in a game at the Intuit Dome, where the Los Angeles Clippers play National Basketball Association home games.The August 29 fundraising game pitted a team of Knights of Columbus members against St. Jeanne students and coaches. Because the game was not held during the CIF basketball season, the St. Jeanne players cannot officially represent the school and the team was called the Golden Squires while the Knights of Columbus team was called the Purple Knights.“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said organizer Michael Huerta, who is a member of Knights of Columbus 14554 at St. Mother Teresa of Calcut
