WILDOMAR-VFW Post 1508 will bring its long-running craft fair back to Wildomar Oct. 3, 2026, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
The annual event, which is sponsored by VFW Post 1508 Auxiliary will feature dozens of vendors selling handmade goods, event coordinator Joyce Turner said.
“We have a lot of artists, some 3D prints, stickers. homemade, cards, Crochet items, hanging towels, planter stakes and crocheted items,” she said, adding that there will also be handmade jewelry, make-up bags and purses and even a woman who makes money leis.
“They’re beautiful,” she said. “Our lineup of vendors and crafters sell stunning one of a kind items that can be used as perfect gifts for any occasion or even as a treat just for yourself.
“Spending some time at the VFW Post 1508 Auxiliary craft fair is the perfect way to get a jump on your holiday shopping,” she added.
The more than 40 vendors signed up to take part include Boho Beach Sisters selling one of a kind handmade jewelry, Crafty Coziness featuring crocheted items such as blankets, throws and toys, The Braided Bliss Bakery selling egg breads in a variety of flavors, MK Deco Designs selling holiday and seasonal wreaths and ornaments, Robert’s Handmade Gifts selling laser wood items and GG’s Bling and Things selling Paparazzi Jewelry. In addition to vendors, several nonprofit organizations, including the Wildomar Beautification Volunteers and the VFW itself will be there.
“Our event offers a great opportunity to learn about some of the truly amazing nonprofits serving our community’” Turner said. “The VFW post 1508 and it’s auxiliary will have plenty of volunteers on hand to answer questions about the VFW and the work that we do to support our veterans.”
For those looking to make a day of the annual event, numerous food vendors will also be on site.
“We have a variety of food vendors so you will be able to eat all day long if you want,” Turner said.
Turner says that the VFW and it’s auxiliary are grateful to the vendors and the shoppers who come out from Wildomar and the surrounding communities every year to support local small businesses, VFW Post 1508 and it’s Auxiliary’s efforts to support veterans.
“We also want to extend a special invitation to our veterans and their families to come out and learn all about the VFW and what it has to offer them,” she said.
In addition to the shopping opportunities and food vendors, each participating crafter will be donating an item for an opportunity drawing, which, in addition to their booth fee, are used to help fund various veteran projects, Turner said.
“We sell tickets, and we have a drawing for an item about every 15 minutes,” she said. “Participants don’t have to be present to win.”
Projects funded in part by the event include holiday events at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, Wheelchair games, the Veteran housing project March
Veterans Village at March Air Reserve Base and more, Turner said.
Winners who are not present will be contacted by phone, Turner said.
The VFW Post 1508 Annual Craft Fair will be held at 21180 Waite Street, Wildomar from 9a.m. to 2 p.m.
