Whether a history buff, a longtime Hemet resident or someone who just has fond memories of visiting the Hemet Museum, the time has come to celebrate its reopening after more than a year of being closed to the public. Located inside the Historic Santa Fe Train Depot that was restored more than 20 years ago, a celebration is planned for Sept. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.The evening will showcase some of the museum’s highlights as well as have history books and items for sale. Tours and a vintage player piano demonstration will give visitors an opportunity to see all interesting things the museum has to offer.
