
Whether a history buff, a longtime Hemet resident or someone who just has fond memories of visiting the Hemet Museum, the time has come to celebrate its reopening after more than a year of being closed to the public. Located inside the Historic Santa Fe Train Depot that was restored more than 20 years ago, a celebration is planned for Sept. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.The evening will showcase some of the museum’s highlights as well as have history books and items for sale. Tours and a vintage player piano demonstration will give visitors an opportunity to see all interesting things the museum has to offer. Refreshments will be available on the outdoor deck.The museum has become well-known for field trips geared toward third-grade classes that have visited through the years. Known as “H
