One Killed, Another Injured in Wreck at French Valley Intersection

FRENCH VALLEY  - A person was killed today and another injured in a two-vehicle wreck at a French Valley intersection, where one of the vehicles rolled several times, ejecting one of the occupants. The deadly crash occurred at 12:42 p.m. at Auld and Pourroy roads, according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency said a Jeep and a sedan impacted. One of the vehicles rolled three to four times before coming to rest on its wheels, according to the CHP. One occupant -- it wasn't clear whether it was the driver or a passenger -- was hurled onto the roadway, suffering catastrophic injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
