FRENCH VALLEY - A person was killed today and another injured in a two-vehicle wreck at a French Valley intersection, where one of the vehicles rolled several times, ejecting one of the occupants.
The deadly crash occurred at 12:42 p.m. at Auld and Pourroy roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said a Jeep and a sedan impacted. One of the vehicles rolled three to four times before coming to rest on its wheels, according to the CHP.
One occupant -- it wasn't clear whether it was the driver or a passenger -- was hurled onto the roadway, suffering catastrophic injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Paramedics pronounced the victim, whose identity was not immediately released, dead at the scene minutes later.
