MENIFEE (CNS) - Officers from the Menifee Police Department will be
out on Friday looking for drivers suspected of driving under the influence of
alcohol and/or drugs, authorities announced today.The patrols will be taking place from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., the police
department announced."DUIs are extremely dangerous and can affect so many people with one
bad decision made and that bad decision is driving impaired," said Chief Ed
Varso.The Menifee PD reminded the public that impaired driving is not just
from alcohol, and that some prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs
may interfere with driving. They advised the public to follow directions for
