Murrieta owns 6.91 acres at the intersection of Fig Street and Adams Avenue. That land is not within the boundaries of a water or sewer district, and the Eastern Municipal Water District board meeting Wednesday, Dec. 20, included approval of two resolutions requesting annexation for that area.The 4-0 vote, with Jeff Armstrong absent, approved the map and legal description of the land, authorized EMWD staff to distribute the necessary funding for the annexation processings and adopted the two resolutions requesting the annexation.
