The Eastern Municipal Water District approved the water supply assessment for the planned Chacon Farms development.
A 5-0 EMWD board vote June 19 approved the water supply assessment which addresses whether the projected normal, single dry year, and multiple dry year expected supply over a 20-year period can meet the demand for the project along with existing and other planned projects. The water supply assessment will be incorporated into the Environmental Impact Report for the project. Ramona Dairy, LLC, is the developer of the Chacon Farms project and the City of San Jacinto is the lead agency for the EIR.
