Popular YouTuber and pet rescue advocate Rocky Kanaka will attempt to Empty Animal Friends of the Valleys’ entire shelter

RIVERSIDE COUNTY – Pet rescue advocate and YouTube personality Rocky Kanaka is attempting to get more than 140 animals adopted at the Animal Friends of the Valleys shelter from July 18-24, more than have ever been adopted at the shelter in just one week. His goal is to empty the shelter completely. All adoption fees will be waived for the week-long event, with costs covered by the Bissell Pet Foundation, and all animals will be spayed/neutered courtesy of the Lucky Chi Dog Rescue.In addition to being a tireless champion of pet rescue, Kanaka is an Emmy-nominated TV Host, Pet Chef and the owner of The Dog Bakery, a popular spot for dogs and their humans in three Los Angeles locations (LA’s Original Farmer’s Market by The Grove, Old Town Pasadena and at Belmont Shore in Long Beach
