Free fireworks show brings thousands to visit Valley-Wide Regional Park in San Jacinto

Thousands of Hemet and San Jacinto visitors filled Valley-Wide Regional Park in San Jacinto and the city streets around it to watch a short but spectacular fireworks show on Thursday, July 4 to celebrate America’s Independence Day.It was a diverse crowd including many families and friends that began filling up the large regional park in the extremely hot weather in anticipation of the free fireworks display that was to start at 9 p.m. Prior to the fireworks display, children romped and played in the park bolstered by lighted balloons and red, white and blue blinking toys sold by pop-up vendors in the park, despite no official vendors organized for the event.Ice cream trucks continually circled
