The Lakeside High School junior varsity baseball team was happy to share their success on the field from this past season and they had good reason to. Boasting an 11-2 league record, the Lancers JV team were the overall champions of the Sunbelt League. Most schools don’t get the luxury of having their standings shared online with MaxPreps at the JV or freshman level, but ask any coach and they all keep them in the back of their heads, as do the players. This year the Lancers, who are in Division 6 of the CIF Southern Section, were put in the Sunbelt League and at the varsity level had a 6-9 record in league play. The junior varsity players from this year are hoping that their success will carry over to next year’s varsity team for those that get the call up.Coached by Ian Adriance,
