RIVERSIDE – Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington is seeking applicants to serve on the County Service Area 149 Advisory Council. CSA council members are appointed by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.CSA 149 advises and makes recommendations to the supervisor on policy matters relating to the wine country road maintenance and improvements, as well as the budget and other matters that may concern the area. The advisory board meets quarterly.CSA 149 is bordered by Butterfield Stage Road and Calle Contento to the west, De Portola Road to the south and east and Glenn Oaks and Buck Road to the north in Temecula Wine Country.CSAs are an alternative method for the county to provide extended and special services within unincorporated areas.
