LOS ALAMITOS – CIF Southern Section Commissioner of Athletics Rob Wigod announced last week that Citrus Hill High School Athletic Director Rich Shearer has accepted a position as an assistant commissioner of athletics for the CIF-SS, effective July 1.“I am very pleased to welcome Rich Shearer to the Southern Section team,” Wigod said. “For many years, Rich has been one of our most accomplished athletic directors and brings a variety of leadership experiences to our office, not only at the section level, but at the state level as well. His knowledge and passion for education-based athletics will be valuable assets to our member schools and our entire organization.
