TEMECULA – Get those dog leashes out and the detective skills ready for a paw-fert summer adventure. Temecula Police Departments’ beloved K-9 Dayka has escaped and is on the run around town and she wants residents to catch her. Follow the city on Facebook or Instagram. A scavenger hunt will take place every Wednesday, starting June 19, through July 24. A secret “Pupdate” as to where Dayka is hiding that day will be posted each Wednesday at 10 a.m. via the city’s social media accounts, but don’t go barking up the wrong tree.
