LAKE ELSINORE - Three dogs were pulled out of a burning Lake Elsinore home today, and firefighters had to revive two of the smoke-smothered pets, all of which were later reunited with their owner.
The blaze was reported about 11:15 a.m. in the 15100 block of Coral Court, near Terra Cotta Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
An agency spokeswoman said that seven engine crews, numbering about two dozen fire personnel, were sent to the location and encountered flames raging in the residence, where the three dogs were found, two near death from smoke inhalation.
"Airway measures took place, and firefighters were successful in resuscitating the family pets,'' according to a fire department statement.
The fire was contained in roughly 10 minutes.
