Health and Community Resource Fair planned for Temecula

Temecula’s ninth annual Health and Community Resource Fair Saturday, Sept. 28, promises an opportunity for members of the community to get the latest information about their own health with health screenings, resources in the community, emergency preparedness and public safety awareness. The event, from 9 a.m. to noon inside the Temecula Civic Center and outside at Town Square, will also feature a Nonprofit Expo. The entire event is spearheaded by the Temecula Community Services Commission. “It’s important that the city helps to connect and engage all members of the community with health and wellness education, prevention, information and resources,” Yvette Martinez, community services manager for Temecula, said.
