Cameron Veatch won both the Sept. 14 Factory Stocks heat race and that division’s main event during that night’s action at Perris Auto Speedway.The main event win was the third of the season for Veatch, who finished second in the Factory Stocks’ previous race Aug. 24, and gave the Temecula driver a six-point lead in the season standings with two races remaining.Veatch entered the night with 101 season points, which are based on heat race and main event finishing positions. Norco driver Mike Burks began the heat race with 99 points. Buena Park driver Darren Myers had 95 points before the Sept. 14 competition.The heat races are six laps on the half-mile dirt oval.
