SoCal Fair to feature races, music, rides, monster trucks
PERRIS (CNS) - Monster trucks, live music, livestock shows, carnival rides, speed contests and other entertainment will highlight the 106th Southern California Fair, opening Saturday and continuing for more than a week at the Perris Fairgrounds.
Activities are generally slated to run between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. during the weekend, and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. weekdays, according to organizers.
Along with a host of rides, this year's event will feature a Western comedy stunt show, barrel racing with horseback riders, bull riding, dairy cattle judging contests, monster truck mash-ups and dirt bike competitions in the arena. There will also be fireworks extravaganzas to mark the start and end of festivities.
