As week Six of the high school football season got underway, teams from Southwestern League hit the field a day early, Thursday, Oct. 3 — instead of on Friday. The biggest thrill of the night came for the Chaparral Pumas, who remain undefeated after beating the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks 30-27.Temecula Valley visited Great Oak in the annual "Pink Game" in support of breast cancer awareness and the Golden Bears didn't disappoint their traveling fans, holding the Wolfpack to just six points on the night.
