Community mourns loss of dance teacher, choreographer

TEMECULA — The theater and dance community has raised more than $12,000 so far for the family of choreographer and dance teacher, Brooke Morris, who died on Oct. 1 from complications from a “brain bleed,” according to friends.   Morris had been involved in musical theater since she was a young child, according to friends, and more recently had been a dance teacher at many studios in town. She did choreography for the city of Temecula’s Youth Musical Theater program for 11 years and worked with Temecula Performing Arts Company, Temecula Valley Players, Fine Arts Network, CAST Academy of Dance in Fallbrook, as well as studios in Rancho Bernardo, Oceanside, and El Cajon. “She began in musical theater as a child at Christian Youth Theater and followed her passion in dance,”
