One person hospitalized in Perris fire

PERRIS (CNS) - A person was hospitalized Sunday after being injured in a travel trailer fire in Perris, according to Cal Fire Riverside. The fire broke out about 6:25 p.m. in the 2600 block of Murrieta Road and was extinguished in less than 20 minutes, a department spokesperson said. Five engines, one truck and one fire chief responded to the scene. There was no immediate information about the severity of the victim's injuries. However, the person was transported to a hospital for treatment, Cal Fire reported. The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
