Home school students help Community Mission of Hope

Home school students in grades 6th through 12th with Inspire Charter School worked for a month collecting items to donate to the Community Mission of Hope and spend a day in service on Tuesday, Sept. 24.  The event was organized by Allison Lurkins, Community Coordinator and HST teacher with Inspire Charter Schools. “This is a service project to give back to the community,” Lurkins said. “These students could go anywhere and they wanted to create a service giving back field-trip — so this exciting.” The students brought in 151 pounds of donated food and 13 pounds of personal hygiene products, but th
