Youngsters celebrate at Fall Festival at Vail Headquarters

Hundreds of youngsters, some in costume and some not, visited a “Nightmare Before Christmas” themed Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 13, at Vail Headquarters.Organized by Pretty Paints’ Crystal McFarlin, the proceeds raised by the festival were to be donated to Our Nicholas Foundation’s Autism and The Arts Initiative.The event began with a special autism-community only component from 3-4 p.m. in order to provide children with autism the opportunity to enjoy the festival in a quiet and calm setting.The free event was opened to the general public to enjoy the many games and events that the festival offered.Children sat down and painted on canvas, tried their hand at carnival game
