Dorland Arts Mountain Arts Colony opens Small Works Exhibit

Dorland Mountain Arts Colony opened its Small Works Exhibit from 22 area artists for viewing by the public through Dec. 13 at the colony, 36701 Highway 79 South, nestled in the hills above Temecula’s Wine Country.Welcoming visitors to the colony are resident artist and executive director Janice Ciprani-Willis and Robert Willis, famed watercolor artist and teacher. The small works exhibit can be viewed in the artists’ gallery featuring many types of artwork, from watercolor, acrylic, sculpture and oils from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.The opening reception was held Sunday, Oct. 13, with many artists in attendance.The featured artists include Cipriani-Willis, Robert Willis, Kathey Crabbe, Kathleen Morgan, Carol Zaleski, Noreen Ring, Hajime Ohno, Lauren Crosthwaite, Carole Degan,
