HS Sports: Fall sports teams wrap up the regular season, playoffs await those worthy of a shot

JP Raineri Sports EditorThe regular season schedule for the high school teams in the area has come to end, and it’s time to talk playoffs, but not before going around the local leagues and seeing what took place last week around the valley. On the gridiron, take look at what those final scores were and see who grabbed that top spot to call themselves league champions. Over in the Ivy League, it was Rancho Verde High School that took the title, closing the door on a 9-1 season with a win over Valley View High School. In the Mountain Pass League, San Jacinto High School beat Tahquitz High School and took the league title with them going 8-2 on the season. Cornerstone Christian High School won the South Valley League with their 8-2 season as well, defeating Sherman Indian High Sch
