Area organizations given CID funding

Each member of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors has a discretionary Community Improvement Designation budget, and the Nov. 5 board of supervisors’ meeting included the allocation of CID funds to several local agencies.The grants included $9,000 for Friends of the Valley-Wide Foundation, $5,000 to Safe Family Justice Centers, $5,000 for The Salvation Army in Hemet, $3,000 to the Assistance League of Hemacinto, $3,000 for the Assistance League of Temecula Valley, $3,000 to the Hemet/San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce, $2,500 for All From the Heart, $2,500 to the Temecula Valley Symphony, $2,000 for the American Association of University Women’s Temecula Valley chapter, $2,000 to the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce and $1,000 apiece to Community Outreach Ministry, Rose Again Founda
