Memorial services set for Murrieta firefighter and paramedic

Jeff Pack Staff WriterMurrieta Fire & Rescue (MFR) on Tuesday, Nov. 26 announced that memorial services for Dean Hale, a firefighter/paramedic who died last Friday following a long battle with job-related cancer. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at The Bridge Church, 38801 Calistoga Drive in Murrieta and will be open to the public. Hale served in the city of Murrieta since 2007 after working 17 years for the city of Alhambra Fire Department. “We have lost not only a beautiful human being and brother today, but we’ve lost one of God’s angels on earth,” MFR Chief David Lantzer said following Hale’s death. “Dean Hale was selfless to the core; I never heard him complain about his condition; he insisted on coming to work when he struggled
