Thousands of people are expected to pack Lake Elsinore’s historic downtown Saturday, Dec. 7, for the city’s annual Winterfest celebration.The event, which runs from 3-7 p.m., will feature a variety of events to bring downtown Lake Elsinore alive with the holiday spirit.The event kicks off with the fifth annual Old Fashioned Christmas parade at 3 p.m. traveling from the corner of Library and Main to Heald and Main streets. This year parade goers can expect to see everything from the beautiful costumes and dances of Ballet Folklorico to dirt track racers.
