Hemet man suspected of child molestation being held on $1 million bail

HEMET (CNS) - A 71-year-old man who's suspected of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 10 turned himself in and is being held on $1 million bail, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported Wednesday. Deputies originally responded to a call of an alleged lewd act on a child on Sept. 10 in the 27000 block of Hemet Street, according to sheriff's officials. Allan Joseph Mikolaycik was later identified as the suspect, and he surrendered at the Hemet sheriff's station on Tuesday and was booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of oral copulation with a minor under 10 years old, according to sheriff's officials.
