Pair suspected of breaking into Menifee storage yard, stealing gas

MENIFEE (CNS) - A convicted felon and another man were arrested Tuesday after they were allegedly caught stealing gas from trucks parked at a Menifee storage facility, where authorities say they may have perpetrated prior burglaries.Roger Michael Guerra, 43, and Juan Antonio Godinez, 30, both of Perris, were booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of conspiracy, burglary, felony vandalism and possession of burglary tools. Guerra was additionally booked for alleged probation violations.He was being held without bail, while Godinez was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt.
