Riverside man dies in crash on 57

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A 36-year-old Riverside man was killed when his car went off the roadway and down an embankment off the southbound 57 freeway in Diamond Bar.The driver was identified as Carlos I. Silva Cabrera, according to the California Highway Patrol.The crash occurred near the Brea Canyon Road exit at about 10:10 p.m. Friday, according to the CHP. The vehicle was located in a ravine below the freeway.Cabrera was going south at an unknown speed when he allowed his 2018 Honda Civic to drift to the right and travel in a southwesterly direction across traffic lanes and into a dirt shoulder. The car subsequently collided with a descending dirt embankment causing fatal injuries.Cabrera, the lone occupant inside the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.The CHP's Bal
