Local creative companies go head-to-head in softball game benefiting local nonprofit organizations

Due to inclement weather, the softball game between The Creative Bar of Murrieta and 60 Grit Studios of Temecula was rescheduled to Sunday, Jan. 12. The game will start at noon at the Cal Oaks Sports Park, 40600 California Oaks Road, in Murrieta for a friendly, yet highly competitive game of softball. The softball game is about more than just fostering relationships and bragging rights though. The company owners, Justin Lawler of The Creative Bar and Gerry Marron and Jay Echeverria of 60 Grit Studios, want to make the game more meaningful.Each company has selected a nonprofit organization based in Murrieta and Temecula and will donate a set amount based on who wins and who loses.
