The city of Temecula once again rang in the new year with its favorite fruit taking center stage at the annual New Year’s Eve Grape Drop Tuesday, Dec. 31.Hundreds of people flocked to the Temecula Civic Center which was transformed to a Times Square-themed venue for the night, to countdown the end of 2019 and celebrate the beginning of a new decade at the longstanding family-friendly event.Partygoers took advantage of the free fun zone, live music and dancing and ice skating to ring in 2020.Two countdowns were held, an East Coast countdown at 9 p.m. followed by the West Coast countdown at midnight, when the famed bunch of grapes were gradually dropped down 65 feet from the
