Man on probation for possessing stolen car arrested again on suspicion of car theft

LAKE ELSINORE (CNS) - A 21-year-old man on probation for possessing a stolen vehicle was arrested Thursday on suspicion of stealing a car, which he allegedly tried to flee deputies in. Riverside County sheriff's deputies located a stolen car about 1 a.m. near Brightman Avenue and Blackwell Boulevard in Lakeland Village, according to a department statement. Deputies attempted to stop the car, but the driver — later determined to be Abel Hall of Lake Elsinore — failed to stop, leading them on a chase that ended when the car became disabled on "several rocks and debris" at a dead end on Rome Hill Road in Lakeland Village, according to the statement.
