WILDOMAR — In an ongoing effort to reduce serious injury/fatal traffic collisions, the Wildomar Traffic Team conducted an enforcement operation from 6 a.m. to noon on Jan. 15, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.In all, 59 drivers were cited for hazardous moving violations, one driver was cited for licensing violations and five other citations were issued."The focus of the enforcement was on collision-causing factors at various area within the city of Wildomar," Sergeant Steve Jimenez said. "Special patrols were deployed to crack down on drivers who violate traffic laws meant to protect all roadway users."Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
