Staff WriterWildomar’s Wednesday, Jan. 15 city council meeting started with the council recognizing councilmember Marsha Swanson for the work she did during the 2019 year while serving as the city’s mayor.“I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you,” Swanson told the rest of the council. “Every time I’ve needed something this year, and I’ve needed a lot this year, you were there for me.”Dustin Nigg, the mayor for 2020, took the opportunity to get a photograph with the council to commemorate his first council meeting as mayor. Councilmember Joseph Morabito also handed out a couple of checks to two local nonprofit groups from the money he won during a raffle.
