Riverside County will transition 65,000 IHSS caregivers and clients to electronic timesheets and electronic visit verification
RIVERSIDE COUNTY – Officials are encouraging Riverside County’s 65,000 In-Home Supportive Services clients and caregivers to attend free local or online classes to learn about new mandatory electronic visit verification and electronic timesheet systems going into effect March 31.“At that time, Riverside County will completely migrate from a paper timesheet to an electronic timesheet,” Barbara Simpson-Lara, an administrator with the IHSS Public Authority, a branch of the county’s Department of Public Social Services, said.The county is initiating the electronic visit verification at the same time to comply with new federal rules that require home health services providers to document their visits to the system.
