TEMECULA – Michelle’s Place is seeking applications for the Patricia Deroeux Scholarship. On behalf the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce, this scholarship is awarded to two individuals within the city of Temecula.Requirements include a candidate who is a full-time student and is in need of financial assistance due to the death of a parent as a result of cancer.Patricia Deroeux was a beloved staff member at the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce for many years. In December of 2002, Pattie was diagnosed with cancer and succumbed to her illness in May of 2003.The TVCC works with Michelle’s Place to offer this scholarship in honor of their friend Pattie.Applications are open online until February 28.
