Charges expected for Menifee man suspected of gunning down Inglewood resident

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - Felony charges may be filed tomorrow against a young man suspected of fatally shooting an 18-year-old Inglewood resident in Moreno Valley. Darren Peter Zesk, 18, of Menifee was arrested Saturday on suspicion of murder and using a firearm in the commission of a crime and is being held in lieu of $2 million bail at the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta. According to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Richard Carroll, there was a confrontation -- the nature of which was not disclosed -- between Zesk and Massai Cole about 2 a.m. Saturday in the 16500 block of Century Street, near Krameria Avenue.
